Child Custody and Visitation

Your child is the most important thing in your world. Celebi Law attorney will fight to maximize your role in your child's life.

In Washington State, the non-custodial parent is entitled to visitation with the child. It is both the parent's and the child's right to a relationship with each other. Courts favor a child having two involved parents. The custodial parent has the responsibility of insuring that the relationship between the child and the non-custodial parent is encouraged. A custodial parent who discourages or interferes with the relationship between the child and the non-custodial parent can lose custody of the child.

In some cases the both parents can be designated as the custodial parent if the custody is shared.
